Hands down, one of the best wines you can't buy at a store. We visited William Harrison Winery in August of 2010 when we toured Napa Valley. This wine was referred to us by my cousin Tonya who lives in Vacaville California.

I was so impressed with the wines at William Harrison that I joined their Wine Of The Month Club. Boy, that was a great decision on my part :)

You can't buy WH Wines at stores, so you either have to buy them at the winery or join their WOM club. The 2007 Rutherford Red is a pre-release and you can only get it by being a WOM Club member.

This wine is a blend of 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Petit Verdot, 15% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Malbec. There were only 225 cases produced.

This wine was very velvety in the mouth with just enough tannins and the legs on this wine would rival Tina Turner's. Definite hints of cherry fruit with a subtle smokiness.

This is a great wine and I encourage anyone who has an opportunity to stop by William Harrison Winery in Rutherford California and give it a try.
